Bobotesti AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Pomuț was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Pomuț in the 84th minute of play forced Bobotesti AFC's goalkeeper Dinu Pânzaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Tănăsocă did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-4 to the left of a surprised Valeriu Buzea 90 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Bobotesti AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Pomuț came free, but Dinu Pânzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Hermannstadt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bobotesti AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
