Gigi Huțanu took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliodor Voica. Eliodor Voica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Lelescu in the 27th minute of play forced FC BUCURESTI's goalkeeper Mircea Ispir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC BUCURESTI's Gigi Huțanu got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliodor Voica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Huțanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

A collision led to FC BUCURESTI getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eusebiu Corbu hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Grigore Tănăsie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Prody Team - BTF's goalkeeper Eliodor Voica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alin Vrabie. 89 minutes into the game, Prody Team - BTF's Sebastian Nistor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mircea Ispir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
