Albert Chesaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, George Brânza notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sighet CF -MM-'s Fabian Donici. Fabian Donici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Sighet CF -MM- booed when Brusturoasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Vâtcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Augustin Mailat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brusturoasa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sighet CF -MM- the free kick. Augustin Mailat hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, George Brânza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brusturoasa's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Brânza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Soneriu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Donici having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sighet CF -MM- fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Brusturoasa a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nechifor Dănciulescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sighet CF -MM-'s Fabian Donici. 1-2. The Sighet CF -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brusturoasa were winning 1-2.

Fabian Donici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Brânza, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Silviu Gârleanu lost his temper 59 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Sighet CF -MM-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brusturoasa:s goal. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Brusturoasa. The referee ignored Sighet CF -MM-'s protests and gave Emil Bitanu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sighet CF -MM- getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Irinel Moșoiu hit a great ball. Nechifor Dănciulescu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When David Hrebenciuc fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Brusturoasa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Soneriu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Brusturoasa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sighet CF -MM-.
