Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hereclean's Vali Deliman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC NFC's Ion Manciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Ciocoiu in the 5th minute of play. Hereclean's Tudor Șerbulescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ion Manciulescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Marian Comișel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabin Coroian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Pânzariu having to interfere. Moise Pânzariu came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by FC NFC's Marian Comișel. But to his dismay, Marian Comișel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Moise Pânzariu made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Marian Comișel sent off a good shot on target. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Marian Comișel kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Moise Pânzariu never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. In the 31st minute, Rareș Maiorescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Ciocoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Marian Comișel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC NFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Comișel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tudor Șerbulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Marian Comișel managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC NFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Comișel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moise Pânzariu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabin Coroian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
