Spectators: 7866 (Terracing: 5901, Seating: 1809, VIP seats: 156) Alberto Piola started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Moise Cioculescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Alberto Piola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigi Panțâru. Gantaga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Piola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 14 minutes into the game, Petru Rizescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Folke Wennerquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augustin Tincu kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gantaga's Horia Vulpăşin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. zymbry's Moise Cioculescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gigi Panțâru but with some difficulty. In the 25th minute, Alberto Piola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The zymbry fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Moise Cioculescu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. zymbry's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Alberto Piola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gantaga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Moise Cioculescu scored to the left of an out of position Gigi Panțâru, making the score, 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Piola got free with Gigi Panțâru in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gigi Panțâru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurel Bitanu's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Moise Cioculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Panțâru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigi Panțâru came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by zymbry's Teodor Andronic. But to his dismay, Teodor Andronic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 48th minute, Alberto Piola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The zymbry fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dragoş Corbea to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, zymbry's Moise Cioculescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gigi Panțâru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Iurie Răţescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iurie Răţescu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Gantaga's Gigi Panțâru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Cioculescu in the 70th minute of play. Folke Wennerquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Corbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gantaga's zone, Alberto Piola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigi Panțâru came out of the goal and Alberto Piola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Alberto Piola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Folke Wennerquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Corbea in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gantaga's zone, Moise Cioculescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigi Panțâru came out of the goal and Moise Cioculescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gantaga made a substitution. Remus Hulubei replaced Dragoş Corbea. Folke Wennerquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Hulubei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 99 minutes into the match, Aurel Bitanu notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Gantaga's Gigi Panțâru. Gigi Panțâru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
