Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcu Martin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Marcu Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Zgaroi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionel Neicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Şuplăcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes Cujmiru got a freekick which was hit by Călin Muja. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Şuplăcan in the 17th minute of play forced United Ajax's goalkeeper Ionel Neicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcu Martin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Augustin Zgaroi made a huge save. In the 21st minute United Ajax were awarded a corner. Ivan Aursulesei went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led United Ajax's Ivan Aursulesei to fire away a dangerous shot which Augustin Zgaroi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mircea Puișoru made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by United Ajax's Ivan Aursulesei. Augustin Zgaroi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcu Martin in the 26th minute. Calistrat Găvan made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by United Ajax's Radu Horea. In the 33rd minute, Ivan Aursulesei made a precise shot to the right of Augustin Zgaroi. Cujmiru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 38 minutes, Mircea Puișoru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cujmiru and the United Ajax players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cujmiru's Mircea Puișoru got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ionel Neicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Deșliu in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, United Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Deșliu came free, but Ionel Neicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Găvan made in the 47th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Costel Şuplăcan. Ionel Neicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Deșliu in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costel Şuplăcan to make the kick off. Augustin Zgaroi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Martin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Cujmiru's Augustin Zgaroi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Aursulesei in the 56th minute of play. Augustin Zgaroi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Martin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Costel Şuplăcan came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Cujmiru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Şuplăcan couldn't finish the play. If Petru Deșliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Marcu Martin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mircea Puișoru made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Petru Deșliu however managed to control. Radu Horea kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, United Ajax's goalkeeper Ionel Neicu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petru Deșliu. Marcu Martin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cujmiru's zone, Radu Horea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustin Zgaroi came out of the goal and Radu Horea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augustin Zgaroi came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by United Ajax's Radu Horea. But to his dismay, Radu Horea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Cujmiru's Albert Oroian got a free kick in the 87th minute. Cujmiru's Petru Deșliu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
