Spectators: 7663 (Terracing: 5748, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Romeo Ghiță managed to get in a good position for a shot. A4p Pitigoi's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Ghiță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihai Zegreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Robert Udrişte fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CS Botosani BTF's protests and gave Robert Udrişte a yellow card for diving instead. Mihai Zegreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Horia in the 9th minute of play. Romeo Ghiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Zegreanu having to interfere. When Manole Aluncai came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the A4p Pitigoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manole Aluncai couldn't finish the play. A4p Pitigoi's Manuel Ghiță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Tarcu in the 16th minute of play. Manuel Ghiță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Vochin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihai Zegreanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Călin Chiliman's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Victor Horia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in CS Botosani BTF's zone, Manole Aluncai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihai Zegreanu came out of the goal and Manole Aluncai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihai Zegreanu made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Romeo Ghiță sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to CS Botosani BTF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Horia Bogrea hit a great ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Emanuel Mazăre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CS Botosani BTF's Mihai Zegreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Manole Aluncai came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the A4p Pitigoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manole Aluncai couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Mazăre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Victor Horia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Ghiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Zegreanu having to interfere. Mihai Zegreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Horia in the 55th minute of the match. Emanuel Mazăre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Ghiță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Tarcu in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, A4p Pitigoi's Manole Aluncai got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Emanuel Mazăre scored 1-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihai Zegreanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manole Aluncai struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Mihai Zegreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A4p Pitigoi. Romeo Ghiță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mihai Zegreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihai Zegreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Ghiță in the 76th minute of play. If Calistrat Micu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manole Aluncai hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Dragoş Vochin took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Ghiță. Manuel Ghiță dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. CS Botosani BTF's Mihai Zegreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Horia in the 94th minute of play. Manole Aluncai might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihai Zegreanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manole Aluncai ran back to his position shaking his head.
