The crowd rose to their feet as Academia Sighet's Ivan Roşca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luca Duca. That made the score 1-0 after 2 minutes of play. In the 6th minute Ivan Roşca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Duca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ivan Roşca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Adanoata's goalkeeper Luca Duca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Roşca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Roşca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Braru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luca Duca having to interfere. Adrian Braru might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luca Duca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Braru ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Ivan Roşca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luca Duca was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. If Ionică Mestecăneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Adanoata's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Roşca came free, but Luca Duca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Adanoata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Cosor to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Roşca in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luca Duca saved Adanoata from getting behind. Luca Duca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Roşca in the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ionică Mestecăneanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Codrin Drâmba made a huge save. Codrin Drâmba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Rogozanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Luca Duca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Roşca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Adanoata's Mugur Năsturel got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 83rd minute Adrian Braru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Duca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
