With his leg Sorin Mihoc managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Adanoata's Ionică Mestecăneanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ionică Mestecăneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ionică Mestecăneanu came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Adanoata fans jumped to their feet. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Baran was the one to do the kick off. Adanoata's Luca Duca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Adanoata from getting a goal against them. Claudiu Doroftei kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Sport Club Miercurea Ciuc's Luca Duca threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuel Baran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luca Duca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Luca Duca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Baran in the 83rd minute of play. 1-5 became the score in the 85th minute when Cătălin Mușat elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
