In the 22nd match minute, Tautau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Ţugui to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes GSBC Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Baniu. Cornel Axinia charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornel Axinia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horaţiu Ispir to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tautau's Adam Ţugui got a free kick in the 53rd minute. GSBC Cluj-Napoca's Grigore Năsturel took a good shot, in the 54th minute, which hit the crossbar above Andrei Ciucă's head, and flew over the goal. Tautau's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by GSBC Cluj-Napoca. Andrei Ciucă came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by GSBC Cluj-Napoca's Gigi Săvoiu. But to his dismay, Gigi Săvoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 65 minutes into the match, Grigore Năsturel notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Tautau's Andrei Ciucă. Andrei Ciucă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute, Grigore Năsturel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrei Ciucă was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Ispir in the 76th minute of play forced GSBC Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Mircea Udroiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mircea Udroiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Ispir in the 80th minute of play. Grigore Năsturel charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
