In the 14th minute Alex Tarcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Drâmba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Academia Sighet getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dragoş Timofte hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Ivan Roşca fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Adrian Braru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Zegreanu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Roşca in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihai Zegreanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Roşca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Zegreanu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CS Botosani BTF's zone, Ivan Roşca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihai Zegreanu came out of the goal and Ivan Roşca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, CS Botosani BTF's Mihai Zegreanu got control of the ball when Adrian Braru tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Adrian Braru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Sighet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Braru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

55 minutes into the match, CS Botosani BTF's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Braru came free, but Mihai Zegreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia Sighet's Codrin Drâmba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Tarcu in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, CS Botosani BTF's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Roşca came free, but Mihai Zegreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihai Zegreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Roşca in the 95th minute of play. Academia Sighet were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
