Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Adanoata's Stelian Rogozanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cătălin Mușat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Luca Duca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Cătălin Mușat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Miercurea Ciuc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cătălin Mușat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sport Club Miercurea Ciuc's Emanuel Baran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luca Duca. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. After 12 minutes of play, Adanoata's Stelian Rogozanu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sorin Mihoc was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the game, Mircea Blajovan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Miercurea Ciuc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Adanoata the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Sport Club Miercurea Ciuc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mircea Blajovan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ionică Mestecăneanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adanoata's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionică Mestecăneanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sorin Mihoc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Adanoata's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Baran came free, but Luca Duca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Baran might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luca Duca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Baran ran back to his position shaking his head. Luca Duca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Baran in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Cătălin Mușat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Miercurea Ciuc's supporters rose to their feet, but Cătălin Mușat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luca Duca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Cosmin Beligan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cătălin Mușat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adanoata's Luca Duca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Baran in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Baran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luca Duca. That made the score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Baran was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Emanuel Baran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Duca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cătălin Mușat struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Luca Duca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Club Miercurea Ciuc. Ionică Mestecăneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Mihoc having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Adanoata's zone, Cătălin Mușat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luca Duca came out of the goal and Cătălin Mușat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the game, Emanuel Baran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Luca Duca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute Emanuel Baran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Duca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Adanoata got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Beligan. Luca Duca came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Miercurea Ciuc's Emanuel Baran. But to his dismay, Emanuel Baran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Sport Club Miercurea Ciuc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
