Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alin Neața got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihail Teişanu during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mihai Frumuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabríel Cristofor in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabríel Cristofor in the 13th minute of play forced Tekerghiol's goalkeeper Mihai Frumuzache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tekerghiol's Dragoş Chirtoacă got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gabríel Cristofor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes, Valeriu Povară made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tekerghiol's Mihai Frumuzache tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mihai Frumuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabríel Cristofor in the 20th minute of play. Dragoş Chirtoacă hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Tekerghiol's Mihai Frumuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Povară in the 22nd minute of play. The UFC RAPID IASI fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when UFC RAPID IASI's Gabríel Cristofor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 30 minutes of play, UFC RAPID IASI's Octav Isvoreanu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihai Frumuzache was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Valeriu Povară had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute, Gabríel Cristofor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UFC RAPID IASI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Gabríel Cristofor sped through Tekerghiol's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihai Frumuzache. Mark Sävström hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes UFC RAPID IASI got a freekick which was hit by Octav Isvoreanu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 52 minutes of play, UFC RAPID IASI's Gabríel Cristofor made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihai Frumuzache was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valeriu Povară blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihai Frumuzache having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as UFC RAPID IASI's Gabríel Cristofor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihai Frumuzache. That made the score 0-7 after 55 minutes of play. After 59 minutes, Gabríel Cristofor made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Tekerghiol's Mihai Frumuzache tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 62 minutes, Valeriu Povară made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Tekerghiol's Mihai Frumuzache tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Octav Isvoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Frumuzache having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Gabríel Cristofor made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Tekerghiol's Mihai Frumuzache tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Mihai Frumuzache managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when UFC RAPID IASI's Gabríel Cristofor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. During the 80th minute of the match Mihail Teişanu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mihail Teişanu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mihail Teişanu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, one of Tekerghiol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tekerghiol. In the 87thth minute of the game Valeriu Povară who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tekerghiol's Mihai Frumuzache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mihăiţă Gugulanu's late challenge caught a Tekerghiol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihăiţă Gugulanu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UFC RAPID IASI's Mihăiţă Gugulanu got a free kick in the 89th minute. Gabríel Cristofor scored 0-12 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihai Frumuzache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Valeriu Povară got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UFC RAPID IASI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
