Spectators: 7390 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Octav Iorgulescu kicked off to start the match. Marin Stoicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Iorgulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Varsand's Marin Stoicu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Varsand from getting a goal against them. Marin Stoicu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remus Vlădoiu went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Varsand's Bogdan Bodnar got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to Nastase getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Octav Iorgulescu hit a great ball. Daniel Vulpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Octav Iorgulescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marin Stoicu. The goal made the score 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorel Aaxiniei in the 28th minute of play forced Nastase's goalkeeper Eusebiu Mareș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marin Stoicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Vlădoiu in the 36th minute of the match. Marin Stoicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Vlădoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute Cosmin Nenițescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Mareș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Nastase's goal looked a bit too open when Dorel Aaxiniei came free, but Eusebiu Mareș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosmin Nenițescu made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Nastase's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Nenițescu came free, but Eusebiu Mareș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Varsand's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Vlădoiu came free, but Marin Stoicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Zâncă kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Varsand's Albert Druță suffered a sore thigh after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Remus Vlădoiu's late challenge caught a Varsand's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remus Vlădoiu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Remus Vlădoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Remus Vlădoiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remus Vlădoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Dorel Aaxiniei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Nastase's goal looked a bit too open when Dorel Aaxiniei came free, but Eusebiu Mareș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Nastase's Remus Vlădoiu made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marin Stoicu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th match minute, Varsand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Posteucă to maneuver through the defense. Varsand's Marin Stoicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Iorgulescu in the 93rd minute of play. Marin Stoicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Vulpe in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Varsand players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nastase.
