Filip Isopescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Frumuzache having to interfere. Dinu Buznea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Neața in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Tekerghiol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Sălcudeanu to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Alin Neața made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tekerghiol's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filip Isopescu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Mihail Teişanu fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tekerghiol's protests and gave Mihail Teişanu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tekerghiol's Mihail Teişanu got a free kick in the 54th minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mihai Frumuzache, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 58 played minutes Tekerghiol got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Druță. When Filip Isopescu came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Karakoium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Isopescu couldn't finish the play. Karakoium's Dinu Buznea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Neața in the 67th minute of play. Dinu Buznea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Hidiș in the 75th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Karakoium's Vali Lucan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihai Frumuzache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Iulian Hidiș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tekerghiol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iulian Hidiș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Alin Neața's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinu Buznea was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 91stth minute of the game Iulian Hidiș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karakoium's Dinu Buznea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Dragoş Chirtoacă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dinu Buznea was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Karakoium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
