The referee showed Aurelian Chira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tekerghiol booed when Steaua Somcuta MM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Chira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Steaua Somcuta MM's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Hidiș came free, but Matei Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tekerghiol getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Dragoş Chirtoacă hit a great ball. Panait Unciuleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mihai Frumuzache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Neața in the 92nd minute of play forced Steaua Somcuta MM's goalkeeper Matei Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Neața in the 93rd minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
