Spectators: 7847 (Terracing: 5887, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 156) Vali Lucan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sterpoaia CS's Valeriu Bodea was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 3rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Sandu Arvinte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sterpoaia CS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karakoium the free kick. In the 9th minute, Emanuel Ghimpu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Karakoium's zone, Sandu Arvinte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinu Buznea came out of the goal and Sandu Arvinte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Valeriu Povară who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karakoium's Dinu Buznea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dinu Buznea was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Valeriu Povară capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valeriu Povară really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The Sterpoaia CS fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Sterpoaia CS's Valeriu Bodea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Valeriu Povară took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Dinu Buznea to make any attempt to save it. Valeriu Povară received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dinu Buznea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Valeriu Bodea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valeriu Povară in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinu Buznea saved Karakoium from getting behind. With a little luck, Karakoium's Dinu Buznea got control of the ball when Valeriu Bodea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the game, Valeriu Bodea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Dinu Buznea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the game, Sterpoaia CS's Valeriu Bodea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dinu Buznea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 69th minute, Valeriu Bodea made a precise shot to the right of Dinu Buznea. Karakoium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 73rdth minute of the game Valeriu Bodea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karakoium's Dinu Buznea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valeriu Povară recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karakoium's Dinu Buznea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Arvinte in the 82nd minute of play. Dinu Buznea didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sterpoaia CS's Valeriu Bodea shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Dinu Buznea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Povară, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pavel Goma hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Dinu Buznea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Bodea, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Sterpoaia CS's Mark Sävström suffered a sore thigh after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Filip Isopescu charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Isopescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Filip Isopescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Valeriu Bodea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sterpoaia CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeriu Bodea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinu Buznea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sterpoaia CS fully deserved thier win.
