Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tekerghiol's Mihai Frumuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Unciuleanu in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute George Pitiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Frumuzache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iulian Hidiș's late challenge caught a Steaua Somcuta MM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iulian Hidiș helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Iulian Hidiș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th match minute, Tekerghiol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Neața to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Pitiș in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihai Frumuzache saved Tekerghiol from getting behind. George Pitiș took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihai Frumuzache. Mihai Frumuzache dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Iulian Hidiș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Matei Rotariu made a huge save. Matei Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Neața, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. George Pitiș was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that George Pitiș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihai Frumuzache was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Dacian Săvulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alin Neața had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tekerghiol's Iulian Hidiș got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Iulian Hidiș off the ground. In the 63rd minute, Iulian Hidiș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes Tekerghiol got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Chirtoacă. The nice shot from Panait Unciuleanu in the 72ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Mihai Frumuzache had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Pitiș in the 74th minute of play forced Tekerghiol's goalkeeper Mihai Frumuzache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Aurelian Chira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steaua Somcuta MM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tekerghiol the free kick. After 82 played minutes, Tekerghiol's Cezar Pârâianu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matei Rotariu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tekerghiol reached it. Dragoş Chirtoacă kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Tekerghiol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Chirtoacă to maneuver through the defense. 0-6 became the score in the 89th minute when George Pitiș elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Tekerghiol getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Codruț Druță hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Panait Unciuleanu in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihai Frumuzache saved Tekerghiol from getting behind. Steaua Somcuta MM's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
