Firefighter Jr BT's August Östensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Povară in the 7th minute of play. Valeriu Povară recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valeriu Bodea got free with August Östensson in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luciano Servando hit a great ball. Iacob Turcescu charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iacob Turcescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Sterpoaia CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Turcescu to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alin Fenici in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederick Kallquist saved Sterpoaia CS from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valeriu Bodea got free with August Östensson in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Nichifor Muntean fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Firefighter Jr BT's protests and gave Nichifor Muntean a yellow card for diving instead. Nichifor Muntean hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Firefighter Jr BT's August Östensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Firefighter Jr BT from getting a goal against them. August Östensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Povară in the 32nd minute of the match. Nechifor Măndica charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nechifor Măndica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 35 minutes into the game, Valeriu Bodea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of August Östensson. Valeriu Bodea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Iacob Turcescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valeriu Povară was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Valeriu Povară made a precise shot to the right of August Östensson. Firefighter Jr BT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 67 minutes into the match, Sterpoaia CS's Valeriu Povară sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that August Östensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Firefighter Jr BT got a freekick which was hit by Petru Bitănescu. 71 minutes into the game, Sterpoaia CS's Iacob Turcescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. August Östensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After a defensive mix-up in Firefighter Jr BT's zone, Valeriu Bodea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Östensson came out of the goal and Valeriu Bodea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frederick Kallquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alin Fenici in the 76th minute. August Östensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Povară in the 79th minute of the match. Valeriu Bodea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but August Östensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Valeriu Povară ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. August Östensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Firefighter Jr BT's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sterpoaia CS had won, even though Firefighter Jr BT had held more of the ball.
