The goalkeeper, Damian Şchiopu, was totally fooled by Tekerghiol's Cezar Pârâianu, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. David Graur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mihai Frumuzache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Teişanu charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihail Teişanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Tekerghiol got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Teişanu. After recieving a nice pass, Calfachioi AC's Robert Caloian tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Cezar Pârâianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihai Frumuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Caloian in the 26th minute of play. Robert Caloian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Mărăscu kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Tekerghiol's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Caloian came free, but Mihai Frumuzache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilie Dănciulescu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Francisc Chițu kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Cezar Pârâianu struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Robert Caloian in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mihai Frumuzache, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Francisc Chițu's late challenge caught a Tekerghiol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisc Chițu helped the player get up and apologised. Francisc Chițu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Mihai Frumuzache was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robert Caloian showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 74 minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Dragoş Chirtoacă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tekerghiol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dragoş Chirtoacă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 90 played minutes Tekerghiol got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Chirtoacă. Ciprian Baniu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Robert Caloian, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tekerghiol succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Calfachioi AC had controlled the match.
