Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damian Şchiopu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valeriu Bodea's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Sterpoaia CS's Valeriu Povară got a free kick in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Iacob Turcescu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Calfachioi AC's Damian Şchiopu. Damian Şchiopu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Povară, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Sandu Arvinte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Damian Şchiopu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Şchiopu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Bodea in the 45th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iacob Turcescu in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Şchiopu saved Calfachioi AC from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavril Alupulesei made a kick off. The supporters of Calfachioi AC booed when Sterpoaia CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Bodea didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Valeriu Povară took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Damian Şchiopu to make any attempt to save it. Iacob Turcescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Sterpoaia CS's Damian Şchiopu threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valeriu Povară, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Damian Şchiopu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Sandu Arvinte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valeriu Povară received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damian Şchiopu came out and tried to block the shot, but Valeriu Povară slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 94th minute.
