Valter Zenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabio Cera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gheorghe Manta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Sever Teaşcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Lupii Dacici's goalkeeper Gelu Armeanca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gică Şerbănescu. In the 17th minute Gică Şerbănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Armeanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gică Şerbănescu struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Gelu Armeanca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lucas FC. If Fabio Cera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Cera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lupii Dacici booed when Lucas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Mumuleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Liviu Bojonca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Zenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Răduțu's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Valter Zenga - 0-2 was put on the score board in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Sever Teaşcă reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gelu Armeanca. The goal made the score 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gică Şerbănescu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Lucas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Mumuleanu to maneuver through the defense. Gelu Armeanca came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Lucas FC's David Mumuleanu. But to his dismay, David Mumuleanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Sever Teaşcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liviu Bojonca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Lupii Dacici's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Şerbănescu came free, but Gelu Armeanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes in the game, Liviu Bojonca fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valter Zenga having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lucas FC's Gică Şerbănescu got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Fabio Cera came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Lucas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Cera couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Liviu Bojonca got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 92 minutes of play, Lupii Dacici's Albert Răduțu made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valter Zenga was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Lucas FC's Valter Zenga got control of the ball when Liviu Bojonca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albert Răduțu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valter Zenga came out and tried to block the shot, but Albert Răduțu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 97th minute. The Lucas FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Lupii Dacici to win.
