DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB's Gigi Bulgar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Mihăescu in the 6th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Toader Cucerzan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB and the FC Fortuna players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, one of DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, FC Fortuna's Bogdan Nistorescu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gigi Bulgar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Movileanu got free with Gigi Bulgar in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Bourceanu came free, but Gigi Bulgar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Luca Flintașu took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gigi Bulgar to make any attempt to save it. Gigi Bulgar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Movileanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gigi Bulgar made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Luca Flintașu sent off a good shot on target. Gigi Bulgar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Bourceanu in the 31st minute of the match. DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB's Gigi Bulgar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Movileanu in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB's Tudor Isărescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Bădoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 37 minutes into the game, Ivan Movileanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gigi Bulgar. Ivan Movileanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. In the 41st minute of the match Călin Tătaru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gigi Bulgar skillfully saved the ball. DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB's Gigi Bulgar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Movileanu in the 43rd minute of play. Călin Bădoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Isărescu in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Movileanu to make the kick off. Cristi Apostolescu scored 4-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigi Bulgar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB's Gigi Bulgar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Movileanu in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Basarab Mihăescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigi Bulgar was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 66th match minute, FC Fortuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Movileanu to maneuver through the defense. Tudor Isărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Bădoi having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Movileanu came free, but Gigi Bulgar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Fortuna booed when DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Dordea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigi Bulgar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Mihăescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Tudor Isărescu scored 5-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Călin Bădoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute Tudor Isărescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Bădoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Bogdan Nistorescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Fortuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Nistorescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigi Bulgar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the game, FC Fortuna's Dragoş Bourceanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigi Bulgar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Călin Bădoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionuț Vasiloiu went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-3 was the resulting score. FC Fortuna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
