If Tudor Isărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavius Ivasiuc struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Gigi Bulgar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tumpika. Gigi Bulgar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Tătăruşanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Găină was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Tumpika the free kick. A collision led to DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Horaţiu Găină hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC Tumpika defense, Ionuț Vasiloiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olimpiu Iftode. The FC Tumpika fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olimpiu Iftode should have stopped the shot. After 31 played minutes FC Tumpika got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Ivasiuc. 33 minutes into the match, DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Flavius Ivasiuc came free, but Gigi Bulgar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionuț Vasiloiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Olimpiu Iftode tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Sergiu Tătăruşanu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB's Gigi Bulgar. Gigi Bulgar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gigi Bulgar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Vlaicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionuț Vasiloiu was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Ionuț Vasiloiu made a precise shot to the right of Olimpiu Iftode. FC Tumpika's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. If Flavius Ivasiuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute, Ionuț Vasiloiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavius Ivasiuc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gigi Bulgar came out and tried to block the shot, but Flavius Ivasiuc slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 75th minute. Flavius Ivasiuc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Gigi Bulgar made a huge save. After 79 minutes of play, FC Tumpika's Flavius Ivasiuc made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gigi Bulgar was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Tătăruşanu in the 85th minute of play forced DIXIE FOTBAL CLUB's goalkeeper Gigi Bulgar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionuț Vasiloiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gigi Bulgar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavius Ivasiuc in the 89th minute. In the 91st play minute Flavius Ivasiuc came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gigi Bulgar. 2-6. 94 minutes into the game, FC Tumpika's Sergiu Tătăruşanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigi Bulgar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. FC Tumpika's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
