In the 17th minute Ivan Movileanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Basarab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Ivan Movileanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Forex's Mugur Basarab was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute of the match FC Fortuna got a corner. Fc Forex's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bogdan Nistorescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Ivan Movileanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Felix Miroiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fortuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Forex the free kick. Felix Miroiu kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Mugur Basarab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Mihăescu in the 34th minute of play. Ivan Movileanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Basarab having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Ivan Movileanu made a precise shot to the right of Mugur Basarab. Fc Forex's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Fc Forex getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Aron Macri hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

FC Fortuna's Călin Bădoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Macri in the 53rd minute of play. Mugur Basarab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Mihăescu in the 55th minute of the match. Mugur Basarab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Mihăescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, FC Fortuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Călin Tătaru to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Forex's zone, Ivan Movileanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugur Basarab came out of the goal and Ivan Movileanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aron Macri's late challenge caught a FC Fortuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Macri helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Fc Forex got a freekick which was hit by Aron Macri. 89 minutes into the game, FC Fortuna's Ivan Movileanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mugur Basarab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Călin Bădoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Alupoaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Luca Flintașu kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over FC Fortuna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fc Forex throughout the match.
