CSM Resiţa's Ferdinand Pandrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Tăzlăuanu in the 14th minute of play. Francisc Dragota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marin Buta during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Ernest Mavrodin fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Iordache Popean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Mavrodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 53 minutes, Gică Rotariu made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. -BZF- Armata Ultra's Iordache Popean tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vali Şerb took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iordache Popean. Iordache Popean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Ferdinand Pandrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Corocăescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, -BZF- Armata Ultra's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Mavrodin came free, but Iordache Popean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, George Tăutu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Iordache Popean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Armata Ultra's Gavril Gheorghe got a free kick in the 73rd minute.
