Sámuel Szűrös blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandru Cezar having to make a save. In the 13th minute Costel Mateescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Cezar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Doklin FC's goalkeeper Alexandru Cezar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Doklin FC booed when YR☆ FCSB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Cernat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filip Leucuța's late challenge caught a Doklin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filip Leucuța helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, YR☆ FCSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Leucuța to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes YR☆ FCSB got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Cernat.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costel Mateescu to make the kick off. Sámuel Szűrös could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Alexandru Cezar made a huge save. Alexandru Cezar stood somewhat misplaced when Costel Mateescu came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 58 minute. When Ivan Dragnea came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the YR☆ FCSB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Dragnea couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Doklin FC's Horea Zglimbea got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Vlădean in the 80th minute of play forced YR☆ FCSB's goalkeeper Ionel Hurezeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sámuel Szűrös fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YR☆ FCSB's protests and gave Sámuel Szűrös a yellow card for diving instead.
