Sámuel Szűrös sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 12 in the game by Costel Mateescu from a close distance when the talented Adam Suşu managed to make a qualified save. Varsesti's players were relieved. With his leg Adam Suşu managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when YR☆ FCSB's Ivan Dragnea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Costel Mateescu put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adam Suşu. With a little luck, Varsesti's Adam Suşu got control of the ball when Sámuel Szűrös tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, YR☆ FCSB's Cristian Timaru got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 34th match minute, Varsesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Marian to maneuver through the defense. Varsesti's Sebastian Bîlbă got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ionel Hurezeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Uncheşelu in the 38th minute of play. Costel Mateescu in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adam Suşu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The long shot by Cristian Timaru in the 48th minute really tested Adam Suşu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Costel Mateescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Filip Leucuța hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costel Mateescu struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Adam Suşu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YR☆ FCSB. Sebastian Bîlbă's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ionel Hurezeanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costel Mateescu in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Suşu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the YR☆ FCSB players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
