Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robert Lepuș started the match with the kick off. Emanuel Mantoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Andrei Chihaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stelian Costeiantu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Jidvei Regal's Emanuel Mantoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gigi Piţurcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivopataka's Andrei Chihaia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Piţurcă in the 19th minute of play. Robert Lepuș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mădălin Oblemenco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Emanuel Mantoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrei Chihaia made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Emanuel Mantoiu sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leontin Siteavu during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Jidvei Regal getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Leontin Siteavu hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Emanuel Mantoiu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ivopataka's Andrei Chihaia. Andrei Chihaia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gigi Piţurcă in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Chihaia saved Ivopataka from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vlad Frunză during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jidvei Regal's Vlad Frunză got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Manuel Zdrenţu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andrei Chihaia. Ivopataka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gigi Piţurcă made the kick off in the second half. Jidvei Regal's Emanuel Mantoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Cătălin Pivniceru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Jidvei Regal got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Zdrenţu. Gigi Piţurcă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Andrei Chihaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Emanuel Mantoiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrei Chihaia. Ivopataka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Mantoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 72nd minute Gigi Piţurcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Chihaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Gigi Piţurcă put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Andrei Chihaia. 81 minutes into the match, Ivopataka's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mantoiu came free, but Andrei Chihaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Emanuel Mantoiu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Jidvei Regal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Mantoiu couldn't finish the play. Gigi Piţurcă struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Andrei Chihaia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jidvei Regal. If Tudor Lepuș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gigi Piţurcă in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Chihaia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jidvei Regal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
