Spectators: 7652 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Doru Morar started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aron Pașcanu got free with Petruț Mitrea in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of CS FLORESTI booed when Schiau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Barbălată didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Valentin Bara came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the CS FLORESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Bara couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Bara in the 10th minute of play forced Schiau's goalkeeper Petruț Mitrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Valentin Bara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Bâru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Morar, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Stelian Hogaș struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Emil Bâru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schiau. Doru Morar hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Aron Pașcanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petruț Mitrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Pașcanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Bara in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petruț Mitrea saved Schiau from getting behind. Ivan Bălan's late challenge caught a Schiau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Bălan helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes CS FLORESTI got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Bălan. Emil Bâru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Morar in the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Stelian Hogaș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schiau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelian Hogaș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aron Pașcanu took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petruț Mitrea. Petruț Mitrea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. CS FLORESTI's Petrică Mihuț got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of CS FLORESTI booed when Schiau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Zgrăbunţa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, CS FLORESTI's Petrică Mihuț broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ivan Bălan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Petruț Mitrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aron Pașcanu made the kick off in the second half. Schiau's Petruț Mitrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Pașcanu in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Doru Morar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Bâru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Morar in the 59th minute of play forced CS FLORESTI's goalkeeper Emil Bâru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Codrin Silvian kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Valentin Bara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Petruț Mitrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petruț Mitrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Bara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Mihuț in the 77th minute of play forced Schiau's goalkeeper Petruț Mitrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CS FLORESTI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Doru Morar scored to the left of an out of position Emil Bâru, making the score, 1-1. Doru Morar might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Bâru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doru Morar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Ivan Bălan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CS FLORESTI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee ended the match the CS FLORESTI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
