The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liviu Cristian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Toader Radovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugen Voineag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd match minute, Barkani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Carabulea to maneuver through the defense. Eugen Voineag succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 24th playminute. 27 minutes into the match, Barkani's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Iorgovan came free, but Filip Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fc Buzau's Vlad Turceanu got a free kick in the 45th minute.

In the 51st minute, Maxim Bivolaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dorel Avram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maxim Bivolaru charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maxim Bivolaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Maxim Bivolaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 59 minutes, Liviu Cristian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barkani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liviu Cristian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Barkani's Liviu Cristian got a free kick in the 61st minute. 69 minutes into the match, Fc Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Dorel Avram came free, but Toader Radovan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Buzau's zone, Liviu Cristian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toader Radovan came out of the goal and Liviu Cristian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liviu Cristian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Radovan having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Fc Buzau were victorious despite being under pressure from Barkani for much of the match.
