The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC LIDIA's Deniz Weissmuller got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC LIDIA's goalkeeper Secondo Volante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Secondo Volante was a little too slow when Damian Caranfil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 2-4. After 73 minutes, Nistor Nedelea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zagavia and the FC LIDIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Secondo Volante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Marius Braia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Romeo in the 91st minute of play forced Zagavia's goalkeeper Maxim Giurăscu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Stănciulescu's late challenge caught a FC LIDIA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Stănciulescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th minute, Dan Stănciulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zagavia's Maxim Giurăscu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Romeo in the 99th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zagavia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
