Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd match minute, Argo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Foltea to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Argo getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Marius Miniș hit a great ball. Manole Dumitrache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Lepuș in the 11th minute of play forced Argo's goalkeeper Basarab Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manole Dumitrache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Basarab Matei made a huge save. Basarab Matei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Lepuș in the 19th minute of the match. Horea Socoriceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Spineanu in the 20th minute of the match. Manole Dumitrache came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Basarab Matei could save by the left post. Tiberiu Lepuș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basarab Matei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Poplăcan in the 29th minute of the match. Basarab Matei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Lepuș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Spineanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niculae Ghișe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Argo's Basarab Matei got control of the ball when Manole Dumitrache tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manole Dumitrache made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Lepuș in the 53rd minute of play forced Argo's goalkeeper Basarab Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 played minutes Argo got a freekick which was hit by Eric Foltea. The supporters of Braseu booed when Argo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Slicaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Pavel Purcaru made a precise shot to the right of Basarab Matei. Argo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Braseu's zone, Eric Foltea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horea Socoriceanu came out of the goal and Eric Foltea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braseu's Horea Socoriceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Spineanu in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Manole Dumitrache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Pavel Purcaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiberiu Lepuș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basarab Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Dumitrache in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Paul Spineanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Spineanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 played minutes Braseu got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Purcaru. Argo's Basarab Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Dumitrache in the 77th minute of play. Basarab Matei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Lepuș, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Argo defense, Manole Dumitrache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basarab Matei. The Argo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basarab Matei should have stopped the shot. Basarab Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Dumitrache in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Manole Dumitrache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Braseu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Braseu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
