Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5781, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Klaas Van Glabeeke made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Saulita's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Braia came free, but Iurie Moșneanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Braia in the 5th minute of play forced Saulita's goalkeeper Iurie Moșneanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saulita's Iurie Moșneanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deniz Weissmuller in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Klaas Van Glabeeke notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Saulita's Iurie Moșneanu. Iurie Moșneanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes into the game, FC LIDIA's Deniz Weissmuller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iurie Moșneanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Iurie Moșneanu came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by FC LIDIA's Klaas Van Glabeeke. But to his dismay, Klaas Van Glabeeke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Saulita's Iurie Moșneanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Braia in the 22nd minute of play. Iurie Moșneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Diaconescu in the 23rd minute of play. Secondo Volante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Hagi in the 24th minute of play. FC LIDIA's Marius Braia got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deniz Weissmuller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Moșneanu having to interfere. Iurie Moșneanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deniz Weissmuller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Marcu Varga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iurie Moșneanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 37 minutes into the game, Klaas Van Glabeeke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Iurie Moșneanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iurie Moșneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaas Van Glabeeke in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of FC LIDIA booed when Saulita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Iacobeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filip Teleagă's late challenge caught a Saulita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filip Teleagă helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Emilian Hagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Secondo Volante having to interfere. Secondo Volante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Hagi in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, FC LIDIA's Deniz Weissmuller dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. With a little luck, Saulita's Iurie Moșneanu got control of the ball when Klaas Van Glabeeke tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Marius Braia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Deniz Weissmuller was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Klaas Van Glabeeke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Iurie Moșneanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Iurie Moșneanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deniz Weissmuller in the 70th minute of the match. Andrei Cârneci took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Secondo Volante. FC LIDIA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radu Alucai in the 73rd minute of play forced FC LIDIA's goalkeeper Secondo Volante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Emilian Hagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Secondo Volante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Deniz Weissmuller dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iurie Moșneanu, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klaas Van Glabeeke got free with Iurie Moșneanu in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iurie Moșneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deniz Weissmuller, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Saulita's Iurie Moșneanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deniz Weissmuller in the 88th minute of play. Emilian Hagi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Radu Alucai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC LIDIA played a much better game than Saulita and deserved their victory. The Saulita players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
