In the 13th minute Viktor Šťastný shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Argo's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Liviu came free, but Basarab Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Argo's zone, Dragoş Sinulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basarab Matei came out of the goal and Dragoş Sinulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basarab Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Liviu in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, FC Bandydos's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Spineanu came free, but Ahmet Sedat Sanih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, FC Bandydos's Dragoş Sinulescu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basarab Matei was left in no man's land by his defense there! The wind increased when Manole Ghiciușca made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Argo's Basarab Matei got control of the ball when Viktor Šťastný tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Manole Ghiciușca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Paul Spineanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argo's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Spineanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Sedat Sanih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 played minutes Argo got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Răuțu. The supporters of FC Bandydos booed when Argo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Cunea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basarab Matei made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Eddy Terajinda sent off a good shot on target. Manole Ghiciușca hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Alin Liviu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manole Ghiciușca kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Basarab Matei was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alin Liviu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 79 minute of play. FC Bandydos made a substitution. Radomil Lichniak replaced Adrian Cioacă. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Cernescu in the 84th minute of play forced Argo's goalkeeper Basarab Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Bandydos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
