Horia Barbosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Iurașcu in the 11th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Dulesti got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Tăgorean. In the 16th match minute, F.C. Sadjc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Curta to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Basarab Trăilă rounded F.C. Sadjc's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Vladimirescu in the 23rd minute of play forced Dulesti's goalkeeper Laurențiu Negulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Liviu Iurașcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Aurel Sabău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Barbosu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
