Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Basarab Trăilă made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute Basarab Trăilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Socoriceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Manole Dumitrache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basarab Trăilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurențiu Negulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manole Dumitrache in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Lepuș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laurențiu Negulescu. Dulesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiberiu Lepuș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 40th minute, Manole Dumitrache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Braseu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Pavel Purcaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laurențiu Negulescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pavel Purcaru ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manole Dumitrache was the one to do the kick off. Dulesti's Laurențiu Negulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Lepuș in the 51st minute of play. Braseu's Manole Dumitrache couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dulesti. Laurențiu Negulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Dumitrache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Basarab Trăilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Socoriceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Tiberiu Lepuș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Laurențiu Negulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laurențiu Negulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Dumitrache in the 82nd minute of play. Manole Dumitrache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Braseu were the better team. Braseu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
