Basarab Matei made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Klaas Van Glabeeke sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, Marius Braia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basarab Matei, 4-0. In the 22nd minute, Deniz Weissmuller reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Basarab Matei. The goal made the score 5-0. Manole Ghiciușca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Secondo Volante having to interfere. Gheorghe Răuțu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Argo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Răuțu to maneuver through the defense. Basarab Matei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Tincu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Klaas Van Glabeeke made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Deniz Weissmuller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basarab Matei was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 61 minutes into the match, Argo's goal looked a bit too open when Deniz Weissmuller came free, but Basarab Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Argo's Basarab Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deniz Weissmuller in the 68th minute of play.
