The score was now 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Radu Torouţ kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiberiu Silvian. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Filip Teleagă hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC LIDIA defense, Dan Stănciulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiberiu Silvian. The FC LIDIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiberiu Silvian should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, FC LIDIA's Tiberiu Silvian got control of the ball when Dan Stănciulescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiberiu Silvian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Elian, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Tiberiu Silvian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Stănciulescu in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petruț Elian in the 27th minute of play forced FC LIDIA's goalkeeper Tiberiu Silvian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, one of Zagavia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for FC LIDIA. Adrian Tincu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maxim Giurăscu. 3-1. FC LIDIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. FC LIDIA's Aron Negreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Tapalagă in the 44th minute of play forced Zagavia's goalkeeper Maxim Giurăscu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Caranfil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The FC LIDIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiberiu Silvian should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute Petruț Elian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Silvian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiberiu Silvian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Elian, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Tiberiu Silvian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petruț Elian in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Dan Stănciulescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiberiu Silvian. FC LIDIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Stănciulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-1. After having played for 86 minutes, Aron Negreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC LIDIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Negreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Dan Stănciulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-1. Tiberiu Silvian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiberiu Silvian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Stănciulescu in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute Petruț Elian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Silvian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zagavia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
