After 16 played minutes -BZF-Gloria Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Tomoiu. After some careless play in the -BZF-Gloria Buzau defense, Vlad Madgearu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Vidican. The -BZF-Gloria Buzau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinand Vidican should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Vlad Madgearu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of -BZF-Gloria Buzau's Ferdinand Vidican. Ferdinand Vidican was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferdinand Vidican tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vali Dragotescu was the one to do the kick off. When Stelian Miroiu fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF-Gloria Buzau's protests and gave Stelian Miroiu a yellow card for diving instead. Stelian Miroiu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Valeriu Curcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. -BZF-Gloria Buzau's Ferdinand Vidican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Dragotescu in the 81st minute of play. After some careless play in the -BZF-Gloria Buzau defense, Vlad Madgearu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Vidican. The supporters of -BZF-Gloria Buzau booed when Oltul Slatina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Dragotescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oltul Slatina's Felix Angheluță proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Oltul Slatina from getting a goal against them. -BZF-Gloria Buzau's Ferdinand Vidican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Dragotescu in the 96th minute of play. Oltul Slatina's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
