Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Berbesul's zone, Vali Dragotescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Budianu came out of the goal and Vali Dragotescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Vlad Madgearu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernest Budianu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vlad Madgearu took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernest Budianu. Ernest Budianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Dragotescu in the 17th minute of play forced Berbesul's goalkeeper Ernest Budianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Nechifor Podgoreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berbesul's supporters rose to their feet, but Nechifor Podgoreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Angheluță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Berbesul defense, Vlad Madgearu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernest Budianu. The Berbesul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernest Budianu should have stopped the shot. After 32 played minutes, Oltul Slatina's Basarab Şantău shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernest Budianu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oltul Slatina reached it. Ernest Budianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlad Madgearu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vali Dragotescu to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Vali Dragotescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Budianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vlad Madgearu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ernest Budianu made a huge save. With a little luck, Berbesul's Ernest Budianu got control of the ball when Vlad Madgearu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valeriu Curcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Budianu having to interfere. Felix Angheluță didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Răuţă went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Vlad Madgearu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ernest Budianu made a huge save. Oltul Slatina's attack was well implemented in the 88th minute, but when Vlad Madgearu was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ernest Budianu made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Vlad Madgearu sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Oltul Slatina's Vali Dragotescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernest Budianu. That made the score 1-7 after 94 minutes of play. Vlad Madgearu took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernest Budianu. Ernest Budianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Oltul Slatina played a much better game than Berbesul and deserved their victory. The Berbesul players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
