Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vali Dragotescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Fc Braila's Lucian Logofătu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Angheluță narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Lăceanu in the 9th minute of play forced Oltul Slatina's goalkeeper Felix Angheluță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Braila's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Laurențiu Bălașa scored to the left of an out of position Laurențiu Nițu, making the score, 1-0. After 13 minutes of play, Fc Braila's Lucian Logofătu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Angheluță was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Eliodor Lăceanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Braila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Fc Braila's Laurențiu Nițu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Dragotescu in the 23rd minute of play. Laurențiu Nițu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Curcă in the 28th minute of play. Laurențiu Nițu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Dragotescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurențiu Nițu made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Vlad Madgearu sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Vali Dragotescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Laurențiu Nițu. That made the score 2-2 in the 32 minute of play. Fc Braila's Laurențiu Nițu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Dragotescu in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valeriu Curcă got free with Laurențiu Nițu in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laurențiu Nițu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valeriu Curcă in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Oltul Slatina's Vlad Madgearu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laurențiu Nițu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Laurențiu Nițu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 4-2. In the 47th minute, Eliodor Lăceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Angheluță was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-3 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucian Logofătu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Eliodor Lăceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Oltul Slatina's goalkeeper Felix Angheluță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucian Logofătu. 55 minutes into the match, Fc Braila's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Dragotescu came free, but Laurențiu Nițu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Oltul Slatina's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lucian Logofătu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Laurențiu Nițu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Madgearu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Ciprian Galiceanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Braila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oltul Slatina the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Ciprian Galiceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Oltul Slatina's Laurențiu Bălașa got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Oltul Slatina's goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Lăceanu came free, but Felix Angheluță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Fc Braila's Eliodor Lăceanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felix Angheluță. Felix Angheluță yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-5. After 83 played minutes Oltul Slatina got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Gârniceanu. 88 minutes into the game, Oltul Slatina's Vali Dragotescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laurențiu Nițu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-5. Laurențiu Nițu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Mureșan in the 91st minute of play. Laurențiu Nițu came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Oltul Slatina's Vlad Madgearu. But to his dismay, Vlad Madgearu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-5. Laurențiu Nițu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Curcă in the 95th minute of the match. Laurențiu Nițu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Madgearu, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Oltul Slatina's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
