Spectators: 7652 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Dragoş Elenescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the game, Ernest Mateianu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Argintari CSM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basil the free kick. A collision led to Argintari CSM getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ernest Mateianu hit a great ball. Narcis Murgescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Mirciulescu in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Dragoş Elenescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maxim Zdrăilă, 1-0. Narcis Murgescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Isăcescu in the 11th minute of the match. When Dragoş Elenescu came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Basil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragoş Elenescu couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavian Isăcescu during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octavian Isăcescu hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The supporters of Argintari CSM booed when Basil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Opaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Basil's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Mateianu came free, but Narcis Murgescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narcis Murgescu came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Argintari CSM's Rareș Mardarescu. But to his dismay, Rareș Mardarescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Maxim Zdrăilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dragoş Elenescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Narcis Murgescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernest Mateianu went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Narcis Murgescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Mateianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Argintari CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Elenescu came free, but Maxim Zdrăilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxim Zdrăilă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Avram Tărbac in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Brad to make the kick off. Dragoş Elenescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Zdrăilă having to interfere. Nechifor Bădiță kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Narcis Murgescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Brad in the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Basil's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Mateianu came free, but Narcis Murgescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match Argintari CSM got a corner. Basil's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nechifor Bădiță ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernest Mateianu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Narcis Murgescu. That made the score 1-4 in the 68 minute of play. Basil's Narcis Murgescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Basil from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Nițisor in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxim Zdrăilă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernest Mateianu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Narcis Murgescu made a huge save. Maxim Zdrăilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Isărescu in the 85th minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play, Argintari CSM's Ernest Mateianu made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narcis Murgescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Elenescu in the 91st minute of play forced Argintari CSM's goalkeeper Maxim Zdrăilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Bîndean's late challenge caught a Basil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Bîndean helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Emanuel Bîndean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute of the match Costin Nițisor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maxim Zdrăilă skillfully saved the ball. Emanuel Mirciulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Narcis Murgescu made a huge save. Maxim Zdrăilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Elenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Argintari CSM's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
