Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eduard Ecobescu made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute Dragoş Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Curcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eduard Ecobescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Eduard Ecobescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deville's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Ecobescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narcis Murgescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narcis Murgescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Frățilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Rareș Isărescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Manole Lupescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narcis Murgescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 25th minute Manole Lupescu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Gabriel Calini charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Calini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Basil's Gabriel Calini got a free kick in the 26th minute. Basil's Narcis Murgescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Ababei in the 29th minute of play. Florin Ababei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Costin Nițisor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Eliodor Curcă made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Florin Ababei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deville fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 44 minutes into the match, Deville's Florin Ababei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Narcis Murgescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Costin Nițisor notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Deville's Eliodor Curcă. Eliodor Curcă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Basil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deville were winning 1-2.

After a rather tough play, Basil's Gabriel Calini got a free kick in the 56th minute. Florin Ababei succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 57th playminute. In the 63rd minute of the match, Florin Ababei got a very nice opportunity to score, but Narcis Murgescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Eduard Ecobescu took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Narcis Murgescu to make any attempt to save it. After 67 minutes, Ionel Brădea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basil and the Deville players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ionel Brădea kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Eliodor Curcă came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Basil's Cazimir Grozuță. But to his dismay, Cazimir Grozuță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Frățilă during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Deville getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Iosif Frățilă hit a great ball. Narcis Murgescu made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Florin Ababei sent off a good shot on target. Narcis Murgescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iosif Frățilă went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-6 was the resulting score. Florin Ababei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Iosif Frățilă took a quick shot and it went in 3-7 without a chance for Narcis Murgescu to make any attempt to save it. Florin Ababei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Basil fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deville were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
