Patryk Babicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorla Goretzka in the 27th minute of the match. Lars Schuster scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patryk Babicki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, FC Xyozen's goal looked a bit too open when Gorla Goretzka came free, but Patryk Babicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Alin Teodorescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Otelul Galati's supporters rose to their feet, but Alin Teodorescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patryk Babicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, FC Xyozen's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Teodorescu came free, but Patryk Babicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Fc Otelul Galati getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gorla Goretzka hit a great ball. Florian Penc hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Fc Otelul Galati's Nicodim Iacobeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Otelul Galati from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gigi Mitulescu hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Bogdan Boerescu notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC Xyozen's Patryk Babicki. The referee ignored Fc Otelul Galati's protests and gave Lars Schuster a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fc Otelul Galati's Lars Schuster got a free kick in the 96th minute.
