If Paul Ipate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Horaţiu Haidău fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jiul Petrosani's protests and gave Horaţiu Haidău a yellow card for diving instead. Horaţiu Haidău hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Paul Achiriloaie kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Felix Tiberian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Isbășoiu having to interfere. Ernest Isbășoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Dobrotă in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Victor Dobrotă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernest Isbășoiu was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 31 minutes of play, ITA Arad's Victor Dobrotă made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernest Isbășoiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute Victor Dobrotă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Isbășoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Victor Dobrotă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jiul Petrosani's Ernest Isbășoiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horia Condeescu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Victor Dobrotă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITA Arad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Barbăneagră in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernest Isbășoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Dobrotă scored 0-7 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Isbășoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

53 minutes into the match, Jiul Petrosani's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Tiberian came free, but Ernest Isbășoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Jiul Petrosani defense, Albert Barbăneagră kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernest Isbășoiu. The Jiul Petrosani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernest Isbășoiu should have stopped the shot. Tsubasa Ožura received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernest Isbășoiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Tsubasa Ožura slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 64th minute. ITA Arad's Marcu Zdroană was substituted for Cazimir Frunză. After some careless play in the Jiul Petrosani defense, Tsubasa Ožura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernest Isbășoiu. The Jiul Petrosani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernest Isbășoiu should have stopped the shot. Jiul Petrosani's Ernest Isbășoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Jiul Petrosani from getting a goal against them. Ernest Isbășoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tsubasa Ožura in the 75th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Felix Tiberian took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Ernest Isbășoiu to make any attempt to save it. In the 86th minute of the match, Victor Dobrotă tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernest Isbășoiu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
