With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sever Târban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FC Xyozen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. FC Xyozen's Jeoffrey De Vos got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Artmir Tapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Târban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeoffrey De Vos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sever Târban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patryk Babicki came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by CSA Steaua Bucuresti's Filip Ignătescu. But to his dismay, Filip Ignătescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Sever Târban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artmir Tapa in the 34th minute of play. CSA Steaua Bucuresti's Sever Târban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artmir Tapa in the 42nd minute of play. The CSA Steaua Bucuresti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Xyozen were winning 1-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artmir Tapa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of CSA Steaua Bucuresti booed when FC Xyozen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Penciulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Artmir Tapa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Jeoffrey De Vos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sever Târban was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. When Artmir Tapa came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FC Xyozen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artmir Tapa couldn't finish the play. Remus Negulici could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Sever Târban made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Artmir Tapa managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Xyozen's supporters rose to their feet, but Artmir Tapa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sever Târban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artmir Tapa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Sever Târban when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Adam Penciulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Xyozen's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Penciulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sever Târban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patryk Babicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Petrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With his leg Sever Târban managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when FC Xyozen's Artmir Tapa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Artmir Tapa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Sever Târban 78 minutes into the match. Remus Negulici blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sever Târban having to make a save. Artmir Tapa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Sever Târban when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ştefan Bucurescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Xyozen's supporters rose to their feet, but Ştefan Bucurescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sever Târban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, CSA Steaua Bucuresti's Eusebiu Popic got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Sever Târban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeoffrey De Vos, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Artmir Tapa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Sever Târban skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The CSA Steaua Bucuresti fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Xyozen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
