Lars Schuster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Manuel Spirache made a huge save. Manuel Spirache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alin Teodorescu's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Lars Schuster cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Manuel Spirache was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fc Otelul Galati's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
