Crangaşi United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GLADIATORII the free kick. Mihăiţă Siniştean hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Viorel Irod fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Bârsan having to interfere. When Nechifor Hurmuz came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the GLADIATORII fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nechifor Hurmuz couldn't finish the play. Nechifor Hurmuz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Bârsan having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, GLADIATORII's Viorel Irod sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Avram Bârsan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nechifor Hurmuz to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Petre Bărbuceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GLADIATORII's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petre Bărbuceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandru Alexa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 60th match minute, Crangaşi United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Onofrei to maneuver through the defense. Nechifor Hurmuz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Avram Bârsan made a huge save. When Viorel Irod came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the GLADIATORII fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viorel Irod couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Crangaşi United's Avram Bârsan got control of the ball when Nechifor Hurmuz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viorel Irod sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, GLADIATORII's Nechifor Hurmuz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Avram Bârsan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Avram Bârsan came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by GLADIATORII's Nechifor Hurmuz. But to his dismay, Nechifor Hurmuz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Crangaşi United's zone, Viorel Irod stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avram Bârsan came out of the goal and Viorel Irod tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Viorel Irod had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viorel Irod fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Bârsan having to interfere. GLADIATORII played a much better game than Crangaşi United and deserved their victory. The Crangaşi United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
