The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adam Aluculesei spun around in front of the goal 3 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Alsovroszi's goal. 15 minutes into the game, Alexandru Alexa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crangaşi United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alsovroszi the free kick. A collision led to Crangaşi United getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alexandru Alexa hit a great ball. Crangaşi United's Alexandru Alexa suffered a sore thigh after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. If Mihăiţă Siniştean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute Alin Andriescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Bârsan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Avram Bârsan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Alin Andriescu fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alsovroszi's protests and gave Alin Andriescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Alsovroszi got a freekick which was hit by Alin Andriescu. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Stanca made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Crangaşi United got a corner. Alsovroszi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Traian Ecobescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Crangaşi United's Traian Ecobescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Eduard Costescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mihăiţă Siniştean came free in the 83rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Eduard Costescu, but to the joy of Alsovroszi's supporters the ball went over. Alsovroszi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
